Thursday, December 12, 2013 6:30 – Doors open 6:45 – 7:00 Transition from your day into the spirit of the evening with silent meditation 7:00 – 8:00 InterSpiritual Worship 8:00 – 9:30 Sharing food and fellowship. Please bring a dessert or hors d’oeuvres that represents your traditional way of celebrating the season. (Please keep it simple by bringing finger food, things that do not require heating up, and are in a container that you can leave.) We’ll provide the coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages! This year’s service and party are inspired by the tradition of Umoja Karamu, a Swahili word meaning “Unity Feast”which is celebrated in a manner similar to Thanksgiving. We will be collecting goods for both over the coming weeks. We invite you to join us in supporting them as well, by bringing a donation with you.
