A Happy Outcome To All Things is Sure !

"Happy endings...for every problem that we can perceive; for every trial we think we still must meet." -lesson 292 A Course In Miracles

Celebrate!

As many of you know, I love A Course In Miracles and do the lessons every day. The headlines I am sharing today come from lesson 292.. you can read it here

I truly find that the more I learn to celebrate each day regardless of the "problems", the more I have to celebrate! I'm not sayin I don't have challenging days. There are always circumstances and people that do not please me.. and such is life ! LOLOL !

I've been meditating on these lines from the prayer of St. Francis: "O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life."

Over the past month, I have been asked to explain my "gender identity". I call myself a "transcendant gendered" person. I say this for several reasons. I place myself in the realm of the transgender experience -NOT because I believe myself to be a "woman in a man's body" but because I don't feel comfortable identifying with the binary gender system- Male/Female. I truly believe myself to be a beautiful combination of both and am comfortable expressing both in the birth body I came into the world with. Since I don't wish to have a "sex change", and since I am not "transitioning", I have had some surprising criticism directed towards me and my ministry. These critics appeared in the media as we were releasing "Rev. Yolanda The Movie" in Colorado. The critics did not bother to watch the movie...LOL...Everyone who saw the movie left with a clear understanding of who I am and what I am about.

I would love to get your feedback on the film. It's only going to be available online for a few more weeks: http://www.goyolanda.com . It's $5 to rent for 48 hours. I invite you to have a viewing party with your friends and then send me an email review. I guess this is a controversial film...hmmmmmmmmm what do YOU think!

All of you Kickstarter folks who helped us raise $5000, your perks are coming to you this month...AND... YOU will receive a link for a free screening of the film. After November, the film will be pitched to the big film festivals across the US. While the film is being pitched to the festivals, it will NOT be available for online screening... SOOOOOOO... if you want to be one of the first to see the film.. PLEASE do so now at http://www.goyolanda.com

AND- speaking of Gender Identity, it seems that Facebook is striving to be inclusive... have a look at this interesting article: http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/facebook-sex-selection-its-complicated
